PORTOFINO GYM

The Gym completes the range of services for the Hotel Splendido Mare in Portofino.

This small space is located on the Molo Umberto Primo, a few hundred metres from the hotel. It is a volume carved into the rock that opens directly onto the sea through a single opening that also functions as an entrance.

The primary objective of the project is to allow natural light maximum access and to multiply the views outwards, through inclined and curved walls and the placement of mirrors that allow guests to catch glimpses of the bay of Portofino.

All furniture and fittings are custom-designed by us. The marble and ceramic bathrooms are inspired by those in the hotel.
