The project takes advantage of the possibility offered by Genoa’s urban development plan to increase the surface area of the flat, located on the top floor of a condominium, by 20%.

The idea is to create a small ‘parasitic’ volume of only 28 square metres that can function as an extension of the existing house, but also as an independent flat. In fact, an internal staircase connects the living room of the flat below with the penthouse.

it is also possible to access it from the roof through the exit of the condominium stairs on the roof.

The structure is made of wood and the cladding is designed in sheet metal.
