The object of the competition was the project proposal for a 12.500 m2 multi-storey residential building, with commercial spaces for 1,100 m2 and 5,000 m2 of parking in the underground floors.

The project wanted to favor the inclusion of the proposal in the urban and environmental context of the “Ex-Falck and Railway Station Areas” sector, reorganizing the spaces outside the building following the principles of coherence, integration and harmonization.

The volume of the proposal has combined an extensive range of different housing cuts, so that the customization of the different apartments, addressed to different occupant profiles, could take place also thanks to the integration of the technological solutions, with particular attention to those related with the green areas.

The integrated home automation solutions, selected on the basis of a feasible balancing of the systems pertaining to the single apartments with the possibility of using common spaces and services, have been designed in the collective parts with criteria of resilience, referred to technologies as well as to surfaces occupation.
