SPLENDIDO MONTE HOTEL PORTOFINO

The intervention in question focuses on the rehabilitation of the entire complex and is aimed at the recovery of the historic character of the structure, especially with regard to the interventions on the main building, and the restoration of compromised elements and regulatory and structural adaptation. Particular attention goes to the maintenance and re-proposition of the language of local architecture by proposing technical solutions compatible with tradition but at the same time performing and sustainable.

The intervention consists of several levels:

Redevelopment of the interior spaces and the “Retro” elevation of the main building with the complete restoration of the façade and the completion of the interior vertical and horizontal distribution and the part of the terrace on the fourth floor to recreate a harmonious composition of volumes.

Renovation of the “tennis” building that will be served by a covered walkway and aimed at accentuating its different character from the main historic core with the intention of making it as integrated as possible into the surrounding landscape, proposing new interior functions and a new façade with extensive presence of climbing greenery.

Revisiting and tidying up the outdoor areas, terraces, and swimming pool in order to enhance their features and to restore the paving and drywalling with materials proper to the local tradition.
